Then, I went to a seafood restaurant near the courthouse with my friends. We enjoyed typical seafood in Boston, clam chowder, a lobster and some crab legs. It was sumptuous lunch.

Federal Court Visit (+Barking Crab)
This morning I visited the Moakley Federal Courthouse with my peers. The new-fashioned building was artistic appearance. We had a guided tour of the building, and attended some cases. I sat in on a jury trial in a criminal case. It was a fraud case, and examination of witnesses were conducted. There were about 13 or 14 jurors, involving alternatives. Interestingly, some music was played when legal professions started to discuss about adopting evidence or something. I think it must be prevention of jurors hearing the content. Different from the trial in the U.K. which I've seen a few years ago, the lawyers did not wear wigs. Later, I sat in on a motion hearing for another case. It looked like a kind of legal discussion without any jurors.
